FN America sets a new standard for pistol accuracy with the Five-seveN MRD! It comes equipped with an optics-cut slide, accommodating the use of the popular micro red dots made by Trijicon, Leupold, Vortex, Burris, Doctor Optic, and Holosun. The installation of a red dot promotes faster, more intuitive target acquisition/engagement, and allows the operator to take full advantage of the superior range, accuracy, and flat shooting trajectory that the 5.7mm cartridge is known for. Accuracy is enhanced even further with the long-lasting 4.8-inch cold hammer forged, chrome lined barrel, as well as smooth trigger pull with a predictable break. Other upgrades of the Five-seveN MRD include improved stippling and textures of the grip, and pronounced serrations on the slide and trigger - together, these additions greatly improve the ergonomics and operation of the Five-seveN MRD, making it a well suited for self-defense and professional-use applications.

Like all the handguns in the Five-seveN family, the Five-seveN MDR offers low recoil and a wide assortment of user-friendly features. All of the controls are oversized, allowing the Five-seveN MRD to be used while wearing gloves and to conform too virtually any shooter. The safety selector is ambidextrous, and a reversible magazine release accommodates both left and right handed users. The adjustable iron-sights can be used to co-witness with a micro red dot, and a photo-luminescent front sight provides accurate shooting in low light situations. In addition, the Five-seveN MRD is available in black and FDE, and ships with 2 magazines.
