The GLOCK G47 Gen5 MOS 9mm Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol was originally a special order contract pistol made specifically for the needs and requirements of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. What makes the Glock G47 Gen5 MOS release a big deal? When a pistol is originally Law Enforcement Only it always become the object which many desire.
Being steeped in history of U.S. Government Contracts and being build with modularity in mind this pistol brings new ideas to the commercial retail market. The frame is most similar to a Glock G45 and the slide is most similar to a Glock G17. The secret sauce is the Glock 47 slide is compatible with a Glock 45 frame which means the same slide will also be compatible with a Glock G19 Frame. Other features include Glock Marksman barrel, 3 separate automatic safeties, flared magwell, ambidextrous slide stop levers, adapter plate and interchangeable backstraps.
