The HS515CM is an ultra durable 20mm micro sight designed for hard-use rifle and carbine applications. The HS515CM is made from 7075 aluminum and includes clear, removable/rotating lens caps, a QD lower 1/3 co-witness (1.63”) mount, and is IP68 certified waterproof and dustproof rating with Solar Failsafe technology. Additional features include our MRS (Multi-Reticle System) with Red Super LED, 10 daylight and 2 night vision compatible reticle intensity settings, Shake Awake technology, and up to 50k hour battery life. The battery is housed beneath a side mounted cap for a tool-less replacement. The HS515CM is designed for sporting and professional users.

    Nice optic. Solid, good reticle, included lens caps, kill flash, and mount. Holds zero. Rarely use circle dot reticle.

    Best budget red dot

    After experiencing multiple defective Sig Sauer sights (MSR with a dead brightness turret and Romeo 4 with glass defect), I finally bought 2 of these. I bought the lower 1/3 mounts. I wish they came with a absolute cowitness mount and a lower 1/3 riser, but otherwise it has everything you could want included (lens caps, kill flash). Great looking unit, no goofy painted logo, but more importantly, nice crisp dot. I don’t recommend using the circle dot. Unlike the eotech which is a holographic that “projects” the reticle to the target focal plane, this is a “red dot” with a closer focal plane that creates some visual noise. But you have the option, and I suppose it could come in handy for BDC. I’ve never had any reliability issues with any Holosun products, so if you don’t want to drop the extra $ on a T2, this is the one. IMO, worth the few extra $ than the other Holosun models.
