The Rapide Dusk is the addition to Kimber's renowned 1911 handgun series, and offers the same quality, craftsmanship, and performance that all Kimber pistols share. Ideal for competition, tactical, and home defense applications, the Rapide Dusk 1911 is outfitted with a precision machined stainless steel slide.

The slide features lightening cuts in strategic locations to promote faster lock time and utilizes a lowered and flared ejection port for flawless ejection - together, these features make the Rapide Dusk both reliable and fast-shooting. The slide also feature stepped cocking serrations, which make performing press-checks, chambering a round, and clearing the weapon quick and easy. The Rapide Dusk's frame is milled to exacting specifications. It features an extended flush fitting mag-well, a Stiplex front strap pattern, and a pair of textured G10 grips, all of which gives the weapon excellent ergonomics.

Both the frame and slide finished with an attractive KimPro II surface treatment that seriously improves the weapon's resistance chemicals, moisture, salt and UV light. To ensure an extreme level of accuracy, the Rapide Dusk is equipped with a match-grade barrel, match-grade chamber, and match-grade trigger. The barrel and chamber are made to extreme match-grade dimensions before being hand fitted to the frame, slide, and bushing. The trigger is the V-Cut Trigger, which delivers an exceptionally crisp break at 4 lbs to 5 lbs to maximize the handgun's accuracy potential.
