The KOWA Genesis 44 8.5x44mm Prominar XD Binocular is the full-sized version of Kowa's flagship binocular line. The 8.5x44 Genesis 44 binoculars are made with 4 of Kowa's Prominar XD glass lenses which, dramatically reduce chromatic aberration and yields a brilliant image.
The Genesis 44 is a phase-coated roof prism binocular with BaK-4 glass prisms treated with the proprietary C3 reflective coating to maximize light throughput. The magnesium alloy frame helps limit the weight while providing increased durability.
The Kowa Genesis 8.5x44mm binoculars have 18.3mm of eye relief and a locking diopter mechanism. With a 397-foot field of view at 1000 yards and a close focus of just 5.5 feet, the optical performance of the binocular won't disappoint anyone! The Kowa Genesis 44 binoculars are completely waterproof and nitrogen-purged to be internally fog-proof. All Genesis 44 binoculars are made with Kowa's heavy metal-free, Eco-Glass.
