Every person who takes interest in firearms in pop culture has probably heard the name Magnum Research if not directly, then through its renowned Desert Eagle pistol that became a pop culture icon, appearing in dozens of movies and series and featured in many video games. This model was one of the first designs overseen by the company’s founders back in 1979. Over the last 40 years, Magnum Research Inc. has been honing and developing the Desert Eagle pistol series. Even though it is currently the company’s signature item, Magnum Research can boast many other quality firearms that are not inferior to the legend, though are somewhat less well-known.

Magnum Research Handguns

Magnum Research Desert Eagle deserves an article of its own, for not many, a pistol managed to leave such a trace in pop culture. Initially manufactured by Israel Military Industries and later Israel Weapon Industries, the Desert Eagle has been exclusively produced in the USA since 2009 within the company’s Minnesota facility. In addition to the traditional black finish, Magnum Research developed a few more exuberant and visually-appealing finish designs. For the time being, this pistol is produced in four Magnum calibers.

As we’ve already mentioned, the desert bird is not the only item of pride in the company's collection. The Magnum Research BFR a.k.a. Biggest Finest Revolver (the body lives up to the name) is another proud member of the Magnum Research family. Magnum to the marrow, this revolver comes in two frame sizes and ten calibers.

Magnum Research 1911 is the brand's take on the time-tested classical M1911 pistol. It comes in G (5” barrel) and C (4.33” barrel) variants as well as The Undercover U (3” barrel) model for maximum discreteness. Chambered in .45 ACP, this pistol has no equal competitors for the money.
