MAGPUL Hunter Remington 700 Long Action Flat Dark Earth Stock (MAG483-FDE)

This is one of "those" reviews where the product hasn't been used for its intended purpose yet, regardless I'm doing it anyway, The stock is very well made and fits the Remington model 700 like a glove. My 700 was a 30-06 ADC model and was manufactured in the mid 90s, I don't know if or how much the dimensions of the rifles have changed over the years. Due to it being an ADC model with the blind magazine I needed to either find the bottom metal from a BDC or find a different option. I chose to go with the Magpul 700L Standard Bolt-Action Magazine Well, which I'll discuss in a different review. The stock and mag well installed onto the action with no real issues aside from the front screw for the ADC stock being too short. I was able to buy a set of screws from Red Hawk Rifle for a minimal cost, but it would sure be nice if Magpul would include a set of screws that are the correct length. The absence of correct length screws is what prompted me to give this product 4 stars, otherwise it would've gotten 5. The ergonomics are great and the design seems to top notch, I guess we'll see what I think once I run a few rounds through it. Over all I'm happy with the purchase at this point and don't anticipate that changing.
