The following procedure is to be followed when using the
Stuck Case Removal Kit.
1. Remove die with the stuck case from your reloading press.
2. Remove decapping rod or back it out as far as possible.
3. Using the No. 7 drill provided, drill through the primer pocket and flash hole.
4. Using the 1/4 – 20 tap provided, tap the end of the stuck case. In the absence of a “tee” handle, simply
secure the tap in your vise and turn the stuck case and die about the tap by hand.
5. Place the cap over the stuck case and insert the 1/4 – 20 cap screw as far as possible with fingers.
6. Insert allen wrench and continue turning cap screw until case is pulled from the die.
7. Use a little more of the proper lubricant next time, especially on the lower half of the case near the
head.
