The Ruger American Rifle Generation ll is an update to the American-made rifle that has been the benchmark for accuracy, durability, and performance in bolt-action rifles for over a decade. This rifle features a 22" barrel to achieve greater velocities, a stainless steel bolt body, an intuitive three-position tang safety, and an oversized bolt handle for positive bolt manipulation, with a 5/16" - 24" thread pattern for easy replacement. The splatter finished stock provides excellent grip without being too sharp or abrasive. The rigid stock also features a removable comb riser to improve sight alignment when using optics, as well as a length of pull (LOP) spacer, which can be removed or replaced to accommodate a variety of statures.
