The Taurus G2S is a single-action with restrike compact semi-automatic that has a slightly shorter grip than the similar G2C compact semi-automatic. The G2S striker-fired gun is available in 6+1 capacity .40 S&W or 7+1 9 mm Luger. Key dimensions include a 1.1” width, 4.8” height, 6.3” overall length. All this cloaks a 3.2” long barrel. There’s a single-slot Mil-STD 1913 Picatinny accessory rail underneath the recoil spring housing. The gun is good looking and replete with snag-avoiding rounded corners. The back of the slide has diagonal slide serrations. Primary controls (magazine release, thumb safety and slide catch) are on the left. Actually, the magazine release is reversible, so it can be on the right too. Thanks to the polymer frame, weight is only 20 ounces.
