This Remington Conversion is a perfect reproduction from the historic period when popular black powder revolvers were being converted into cartridge revolvers. Although manufactured as a an already converted cartridge revolver, these copies still feature an easy transition from blackpowder to centerfire cartridges on the 38 Special caliber models.
Along with the original conversion design, these revolvers retain other original features: the forged frames are dovetailed to allow the loading gate assembly to slide into place and a modern ejector rod incorporated into the original black powder loading lever with a small notch cut into the loading lever itself. It comes chambered in 38 Special with a 5.5 inch barrel. Features include a fixed sights, a walnut grip, and a 6 round capacity.
