THUNDER BEAST ARMS CORPORATION Ultra 9 Gen2 .30 Cal 1.375x24 HUB FDE Suppressor (G2-ULTRA-9-30-HUB-FDE)

The Ultra 9 Gen 2 Suppressor is quieter and lighter than the original version. The official model ("Ultra 9") does not change. Gen 2 Ultra 9s can be identified by serial numbers that are higher than C40000 or by the visual changes.

The Ultra 9 is a full-size precision rifle suppressor. It is best for applications where maximum suppression is key. The .30 caliber version is best for maximum flexibility for .223 up to .300 RUM.

The .30 cal Ultra 9 Gen 2 meters at 135 dB (milspec left/right) and 123 dB at shooter's-ear1, shooting full-power (hot) M118LR ammunition from a 20" AI AX. Compared to the original, the Gen2 is about 2 dB quieter at the muzzle and 5 dB quieter at the shooter's ear.

Thunder Beast Arms Corporation now specifies the dB rating as a single number for the specified weapon-ammo configuration due to the long-term consistency of the B&K PULSE system. The numbers for the milspec-left/right mic position are very consistent. "Shooter's ear" (SE) numbers are a little more variable and should be considered with a margin of +/- 2 dB.

The Ultra 9 Gen2 weighs 10.0 ounces (1.9 ounces lighter than the Gen1).

The HUB interface version of this suppressor is meant for advanced users who are familiar with HUB-compatible mounts and know how to use their choice of HUB mounting system in a secure, reliable, and repeatable manner. If you get the HUB version, you should know what you're doing. Everything behind the suppressor body is your responsibility.

Thunder Beast Arms Corporation will guarantee that the HUB interface is correct and the suppressor will have acceptably-low runout when mounted on a TBAC reference HUB/DT interface.

For the Ultra 9, the HUB version has a slightly larger outer diameter (OD) at the rear of the suppressor to accomodate the 1.375" internal threads, compared to the normal CB versions.

HUB models do not include a mount or mounting system.
