Compatible with tripod-adaptable binoculars with a 1/4"-20 socket/thread, the Vortex Pro Binocular Adapter Stud allows you to mount your binos to the Pro Binocular Adapter (not included) for superior stability and clarity. Installing additional studs on multiple binoculars allows swapping between optics quick and easy.
The stud is one part of the tripod adapter's 2-part system, so you can have the base portion on your QR plate and leave a stud in each set of your binoculars to quickly change your kit depending on what you're glassing and where you're going to do it. It has a standard 1/4"-20 mounting screw for your binoculars' adapter socket on the front of its bridge hinge. This the stud only - you need the Pro Binocular Tripod Adapter to use it.
