The WEAVER #46 48046 Top Mount 2-Piece Base is a durable aluminum scope mount base designed for a wide range of firearms. Each Weaver base is machined to tight tolerances for a custom fit. These aluminum bases detach quickly and easily and offer maximum strength for rings to hold tight.
Notes:
Product is a one-piece base; some firearm types may require the purchase of both a front and a rear base.
For certain Savage and Stevens models with shorter tube scopes or red dot scopes, use #402 extension front base or one-piece base for additional scope placement flexibility.
For Mauser Receiver Rings (1.4" diameter, 98FN; 1.3" diameter, Swedish 96), shimming may be required for proper scope alignment.
Winchester 52 may require bolt and/or safety alterations for safe operation. Consult a qualified gunsmith.
Ensure proper hole spacing for Winchester 52 and 70 models to select the correct base combination.
