ASK AN EXPERTYHM designed this QD Blast Deflector to work with multiple YHM QD muzzle devices. The QD Blast Deflector locks on just like a YHM Suppressor. The mechanism is fast, positive and virtually impossible to disengage accidentally.
The YHM-3130 is designed to fit the following QD Mounts: YHM-3102, YHM-4302, YHM-5M2-QD.
The YHM-3130 will NOT fit: YHM-3702, YHM-3802, YHM-9923, YHM-9853.

Shooting a short-barrelled AR comes with its own challenges, muzzle blast being one of them. YHM blast deflector takes care of this problem for which I'm very grateful
If you do need a blast deflector, this one is a safe choice. It's well machined, it locks securely into place and keeps my support hand safe from the muzzle blast
I chose this as a cheaper replacement for a silencer that doesn't involve any fees or paperwork, but it's not particularly good at muting. Not that it was mentioned anywhere, just thought I might cheat the system. I read about muzzle deflectors a bit and it does was it's supposed to do so I think it's ok
