Browning is delving into semi-custom rifle production with the X-Bolt Mountain Pro. So, the X-Bolt Mountain Pro is classified as a "semi-custom rifle" with higher end construction above the already top-tier X-Bolt family of hunting rifles. Primarily, the X-Bolt Mountain Pro has a true carbon fiber stock that is lighter than previous models - making it extremely lightweight and rigid. The stock is filled with a noise-dampening foam.
The barrel features a proprietary lapping process for consistent accuracy and easier bore cleaning, excluding the need for a time-consuming break-in process. The Cerakote finish on the stainless steel action and barrel is also on the exterior of the stock provides additional protection. Other features include a spiral fluted bolt and bolt knob, threaded muzzle with Browning's Recoil Hawg muzzle brake that reduces felt recoil up to 77% (depending on caliber), successfully taming your magnum cartridges.
