The MARLIN XT-22R .22LR 22in 7rd Bolt-Action Rifle (70779) is a fantastic rifle for hunting, competition or training. Accurate, reliable, and light weight are the hallmarks of the rugged XT Series.
This economical 22 Bolt Action features a 22" barrel, a 7-shot detachable box magazine and Marlin's Pro-Fire adjustable trigger. It has an adjustable rear sight with a ramp front sight but it's also drilled and tapped with a grooved receiver for optics. A Black synthetic stock with pistol style grip, textured grip panels and molded-in sling swivel studs offers you an ergonomic platform that is easy to shoot.
The XT-22 Rifle is a great way to introduce and practice the fundamentals of long range shooting, but it's also an excellent small game and varmint hunting rifle for the experienced shooter.
