The MESA-TACTICAL 6-Shell SureShell Side Saddle Mount w/ Rail, Black, Mossberg 500, 590 12Ga 4in. (93630) is a lightweight high strength mount for the Mossberg shotguns. This model is available with a 4-inch Picatinny optic rail and with 6-round carrying capacity.
The Mesa Tactical Saddle Rail is designed as an aluminum bracket that wraps around the top of the shotgun receiver. Factory Mossberg trigger pins are replaced by internally thread steel pins, to which both sides of the saddle rail are securely bolted. SureShell Saddle Rail features a Mil-Std-1913 Picatinny sight rail along the top and a SureShell shotshell carrier on the left side of the receiver. A tactical-style forend or a cut down factory forend that does not overlap the receiver must be used for the proper function of the shotgun.
