Each year, nearly 1,000 people are accidentally shot by hunters, often because they were hidden from view by the animal, foliage or other obstacles to a clear line of sight. Knowing that your friends aren’t in the line of fire is critical.
Developed by Israeli veterans, the SAFESHOOT is a new system that lets the hunter know if someone wearing another device is in the line of fire, even if that person can’t be seen. The devices can even be worn by dogs! SAFESHOOT is a technologically advanced solution for serious hunters, that alerts your hunting parties’ positions are unsafely downrange.
SAFESHOOT is a unique system that creates a safety network for hunters to increase situational awareness and assist in preventing friendly-fire incidents. By attaching a shooter device that fits most rifles, shooters will be automatically alerted when another SAFESHOOT device holder is downrange and in their line of fire. The system does not need line of sight because the SAFESHOOT advanced system uses radio frequency (RF) communication.
HOW IT WORKS
THE TECHNOLOGY
GPS
Provides system's position by receiving information from GPS satellites
MEMS SENSORS
An array of MEMS Sensors is used to measure the barrel direction of the different devices
RF COMMUNICATION
All devices in the group share information using RF communication
WHO NEEDS SAFESHOOT
SAFESHOOT devices are now available for the following usage:
