Swarovski Optik, who is always on the cutting edge of technological advancements, once again raises the bar by introducing the Z6 line of riflescopes. While most variable power riflescopes offer a modest zoom, the Z6 series delivers a broad (6x) magnification range. This enhanced field of view makes your favorite hunting firearm more versatile while eliminating the need for a second or third optics purchase.
The Z6 2.5-15x56 is not just another sighting system with fancy specifications; it is rugged, dependable and repeatable. Hunters who have attempted to gain positive target acquisition on fast moving game will greatly appreciate the 2.5x magnification setting. Substantially longer shots can be executed with relative ease when the power is dialed up to 15x and the side focus knob is dialed in to eliminate parallax error. From the ocular to the objective, inside and out, this scope is a world class performer that will get you on target quickly and accurately.
This Z6 scope is configured with a water and fogproof 30 mm tube, crystal clear HD lenses, side focus parallax correction, a matte black finish, and a BRX reticle in the second focal plane.
A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.
