The Barrett Model 82 is the rifle which started an incredible legacy. Originally the model 82 was designed to be the first shoulder fired semi-automatic .50 BMG rifle perfect for an anti-material application. The rifle also became adopted as an anti-personnel rifle by many armed forces and special operations units. Fast forward to 2002 and the model M82A1 was used as the Objective Sniper Weapon prototype. This rifle showed incredible effectiveness and potential when placed in the hands of special operations individuals.
