The X-Bolt Mountain Pro Long Range Rifle comes with carbon fiber stock with accent graphics, Cerakote Tungsten finish on a stainless steel barrel and action, spiral fluted bolt, 26" spiral fluted and lapped heavy sporter contour barrel, threaded muzzle, Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector included.
Browning is delving into semi-custom rifle production with the X-Bolt Mountain Pro. This classifies the X-Bolt Mountain Pro as a "semi-custom rifle" with the level of specialized finishing touches and higher end construction above the already top-tier X-Bolt series of hunting rifles. The X-Bolt Mountain Pro has a true carbon fiber stock - lighter than older versions - making it extremely lightweight and solid. The stock is filled with a noise-dampening foam.
The Cerakote finish on the stainless steel action and barrel is also on the exterior of the stock provides additional protection. The barrel has a proprietary lapping process for consistent reliability and easier bore cleaning, avoiding the need for a time-consuming break-in process. Other key features contain a spiral fluted bolt and bolt knob, threaded muzzle with Browning's Recoil Hawg muzzle brake which reduces felt recoil up to 77% depending on caliber, successfully taming your liked magnum cartridges.
