Things works great, once you have the bullets loaded in the right way. I was able to connect my magazine to the mag loader immediately. As another review mentioned the bullets do fall in and cannot be loaded. This is a minor hassle, as you can grab five at a time and loaded them. Overall satisfied with this because makes loading a 30-40 round magazine a breeze!

This speed loader works good enough. Sometimes the bullets will fall over inside while putting them in and its kind of a hassle to get them straightened out. I found that I have gotten better over time so stick with it. I think also there may be certain ammo packaging that is easier to use if it falls in correctly, but regular packaging with loose ammo is difficult. Once they are in the speed loader correctly it loads the magazines well and overall is much easier than pushing each one into the mag individually.
