CZ 557 Sporter 30-06 Sprg 20.5in 4rd Beechwood Stock Rifle (04140)

The CZ 557 Sporter Rifle delivers the quality and accuracy expected from a CZ rifle at a significant cost savings over the CZ 550 line. This rifle retains the forged receiver, integral scope dovetails and top quality hammer forged barrel on other CZ rifles, but incorporates a short extractor and a plunger style ejector for smoother operation and enhanced ejection.

The 2 position receiver mounted safety has been upgraded to allow the bolt to be operated while in the "safe" position. The trigger is fully adjustable for pull weight, creep, and overtravel enabling the user to tune it to match their individual shooting style, but does not have the set function of the CZ SST trigger system. The CZ 557 Sporter model "sports" a checkered American pattern Beechwood Stock, and matte finished blued steel.
