DIAMONDHEAD USA Diamond Integrated NiteBrite Sighting System (1499)

A little strange looking, but these sights really shine if you have bad eyes--between a good eye that's 20/400 and a brain that processes "lines and corners" visual data better than "circles and arcs", these are my Go To sights, with the rear outer wings, front wings, rear reticle and front post neatly interleaving at almost the full length of my 16" AR for sight radius. Have one for the rear BUIS on a front-sight-post AR pistol I'm building, but haven't worked out the sight picture on that yet. One caveat: the NiteBrite system is not self-illuminating like radioactive tritium sights, you need to "charge" it with a flashlight or other light source for a couple minutes before using in darkness, much like you might a child's glow-in-the-dark toy. That said, already a repeat buyer, and the only AR's on my planning sheet I don't see being fitted with these are replicas of Military Issue configurations.
