The Flexcut is a fixed handle palm tool with a #6 gouge and is 1/2" wide (12 mm). The Flexcut gouge features a flexible spring shank that conforms to the contours of your projects surface giving you maximum control over every cut. When the contour of the surface changes, the angle of the handle remains almost the same, while the blade changes angles instead. This feature is extremely beneficial for all types of woodcarving.
