The Flexcut is a fixed handle palm tool with a #1 single bevel chisel and is 3/8" wide (9mm). Flexcut chisels can be used for cutting curves, wood removal, or adding depth to relief carvings. This Flexcut Palm Carving Tool is pre-sharpened at the factory to a highly polished razor's edge. This creates an efficient, long-lasting cutting tool. The more polished the edge, the sharper it is and the longer it will stay sharp. Keeping your tools sharp requires some routine maintenance. This Flexcut FR307 Palm 70° x 1/4" V-Tool is sharpened at 15°. That is the angle that you should also strop it at.
