Hogue is one of the leading manufacturers of handgun grips and long-barrel gun stocks, as well as specialty knives and shooting gear and accessories. Since its creation in 1968, the company has delivered its products to firearms manufacturers, law enforcement agencies, competitive shooters, and gun enthusiasts, combining dedication to family traditions with an innovative mindset.
Guy Hogue was a member of the LA Police Department and dreamed about a grip that would perfectly fit his hand for a long time. He started the business in his garage, and the first creation was a hand-crafted wooden handgun grip. As soon as he gained some aptitude, he began making grips for his fellow colleagues. Finally, Hogue grips became so popular that he decided to retire and focus on the business.
Several years later, Hogue introduced molded-rubber grips appreciated for recoil management and non-slip benefit by many magnum revolver and 1911 pistol shooters.
Today, the company supplies at least 16 handgun brands with its pistol grips, as well as manufactures stocks, holsters, and tactical gear and accessories.
Hogue Grips
The company produces rubber and wooden handgun grips for Glock, 1911, Sig Sauer, Beretta, Browning, Colt, Dan Wesson, Ruger, and other brands. Recently, it introduced the Wrapter Adhesive series of thin soft-rubber grips for polymer-frame pistols. And if you want to mount a laser on your handgun, Hogue designs and manufactures laser-enhanced grips for popular models like Ruger LCR, Kimber Micro 9, 1911 clones, and others.
The company also produces grips for tactical rifles, such as AR-15 and AK 47/74. Hogue AR-15 grips made with proprietary OverMolded rubber are available in beavertail and non-beavertail designs with and without finger grooves. There also are 15-degree vertical grips.
