In 1941, Inland Manufacturing, a division of General Motors, was tasked to support the war effort as the US was drawn into one of the greatest conflicts in history. As a result, they became one of the largest firearm manufacturers in the US, producing nearly 3 million guns in less than five years. This INLAND MFG M1A1 Paratrooper .30 Carbine 18in 15rd Semi-Automatic Rifle (ILM150) is a faithful reproduction of the guns produced in that era. It features a folding wire stock, 15 round magazine, and cartouche marks and stampings in the wood specific to Inland Carbines of WWII. It would make a terrific addition to the collection of any history buff.
