In usual KelTec fashion, the PLR16 offers a lightweight, compact solution to a rifle caliber problem. Although it has a stout, smooth and reliable gas system, this pistol stows nicely in a pack and comes with a flush-fit 10 round lead dispenser. Or, you can run any AR-15 compatible magazines.

Although Kel-Tec does not recommend suppressing the PLR16, it features a 9" barrel that is threaded 1/2×28 to accommodate your choice of compensator or flash hider. They also offer an optional compact forend, sling mount and arm brace adapter kit to set it up for your needs. Iron sights are provided, however there's an integrated Picatinny-style rail for mounting your favorite optic.
