The M1911 MK II PTP is a modernized tactical M1911 design, based on the Kimber Desert Warrior. High profile Novak-style tactical three dot sights make it easier to acquire your target, and the rear sight is adjustable for windage. Tactical lightweight skeletonized hammer and trigger give the gun a meaner look and improve performance. The beavertail grip safety provides better protection from the hammer for your hand. An ambidextrous extended tactical safety not only makes the safety easier to operate, but also makes it lefty-friendly. With the exception of the barrel, which is made from a self-lubricating polymer to extend the life of the internal components (metal barrels are available from KWA), the M1911 MK II features a full metal construction; everything that is metal on the real gun is real on this one. The slide and frame are both beautifully finished in flat dark earth, making for a very unique pistol, and have a high quality feel to them. The slide has both front and rear cocking serrations making it very versatile, and the frame features an integrated Picatinny rail to allow lights or lasers to be mounted, and a straight, textured back strap to improve handling. The waffle-style grips are made from a high grade polymer, with a unique texture that makes for a comfortable and secure grip. All of this combined with KWA’s awesome NS2 system means that this gun is dressed to impress.
