This Aluminum Match-Grade Pistol combines the accuracy and feel of a traditional steel pistol without compromising the durability and comfort of a modern polymer pistol.
Designed by engineers, law enforcement, and competitive shooters, the AMP is the ultimate mission ready pistol. It features a Modular Fire Control Unit, that allows for interchangeable frames to transform your AMP into your dream gun. Durable and long-lasting, the Fire Control Unit is CNC machined from heat-treated 17-4 Stainless Steel. This construction also allows for the rails to be machined ideally flat to each other and held to a .0005 specification to reduce any unnecessary play, as in many traditional guns.
The Live Free Armory striker-fired pistol is equipped with a full aluminum grip module to maintain strength and stability and reduce flex and recoil while shooting. The skeletonized 1911-angled grip module allows for custom and aftermarket grip panels to be modified for an intuitive and reliable grip. It also features an extended beavertail, allowing the pistol to sit lower and comfortably in the hand. The match-grade nitrided fluted barrel is honed, burnished to an 8-micron finish, and rifle cut for unparalleled accuracy.
The LFA AMP pistol utilizes Glock 19 slides and magazines. The barrel, trigger, slide, sights, and most internals are Glock compatible. Durable and high-performance, the Live Free Armory pistol has an expertly crafted compact slide - aggressive windows and deep-angled serrations. The slide comes standard with an RMR optic cut to mount a sight directly without cumbersome plates or adapters.
