SHADOW SYSTEMS DR920 War Poet Blemished 9mm Cut Fluted 5in Threaded Barrel 17+1rd Black Pistol (SS-2075-B)

Built in collaboration with Shadow Systems and John Lovell of the Warrior Poet Society, the Shadow Systems DR920 War Poet Blemished Pistol was created to be the ultimate multi-role duty pistol. WPS chose the DR920 as the platform because it excels as both a duty weapon as well as a range pistol - and because it's fully compatible with existing Glock 17 holsters, magazines and gear.

The optics mounting system is among the best we've ever seen, and was the result of considerable effort. By redesigning internal slide components, Shadow Systems was able to relocate portions of the operating system to allow strong, deep screw placement; extremely low placement for true co-witness with iron sights; and, most importantly, direct mounting of several red dots WITHOUT adapter plates.

The War Poet Full-Size is built around the Shadow Systems DR920 Frame, which features interchangeable backstraps to allow the shooter to adjust the grip angle to fit their natural point of aim. The extended beavertail and aggressive trigger guard undercut provide unmatched recoil control, allowing quick, accurate follow-up shots. The frame's wrap-around grip texture is aggressive enough to keep the gun firmly in the shooter's grip without being uncomfortable for daily wear.

For the War Poet, WPS chose a 416R stainless barrel with conventional rifling - meaning it's compatible with lead bullets. Stainless steel is highly corrosion resistant, so it'll last far longer when exposed to sweat or humidity. The barrel is fluted to reduce overall weight, and comes threaded to accept a suppressor or muzzle brake. This model features a black nitride finish.
