The TOPS Knives Fieldcraft Brothers of Bushcraft Knife is best known as the BOB knife. Brothers of Bushcraft is a coalition of men across North America sharing wilderness survival and bushcraft skills. The Fieldcraft's blade is made of 1095 High Carbon steel. The cutting edge is a modified Scandinavian Grind, which is very effective for carving, skinning and other general woods work. The blade features a coyote tan finish that will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of this fantastic knife. The ergonomic handle scales are tan canvas micarta and boast a bow drill pivot for starting primitive fires with ease. "Thumb Scallops" along the hilt make for comfort and maximum control when carving and skinning. Comes with a Ferro rod that can be scraped with the exposed pommel designed for just that purpose.
