Since this model has the shortened barrel length it features a "lever-latch" part to retain the cylinder pin in the frame and does not come with a loading lever. It also features a steel frame, brass triggerguard, octagonal barrel, fixed front blade sight, and different finish options for the two-piece grips. A conversion cylinder is available for this model that is a drop-in conversion to smokeless .45LC/.45Schofield ammunition.
